EDEN is an exciting new SOW initiative exploring ways in which creativity can be encouraged, developed, used and celebrated in the heart of the local church.

We believe that we all have a creative soul and want to encourage people in discovering their own God-given, God – driven creative expressions of worship amongst like-minded conspirators! Creative arts are a universal language which speak into our world.

Come and join us as we launch EDEN – for an evening of creative inspiration and passionate worship with Graham Kendrick and Sound of Wales, along with break out sessions exploring sketch-note journals, storytelling, artisan coffee and more…

Tickets are £7 and available to book www.jumblebee.co.uk/sowedenone

SOW 4:14 25th 26th July 2017

Where? Temple Baptist Church, Pontypridd

Cost? £15

SOW 4:14 is a TWO day creative worship event for children aged between 4 & 14.

As SOW, we are passionate about raising up the next generation, not only to become followers of Christ, but to know their identity in Him and become all that He has designed them to be.

During this day we explore worship through the creative arts; music, dance, drama and art and encourage young people to discover more of the potential God has placed within them. They learn more about His heart of deep love for them and in turn, develop a heart of love for God and for others.

Mixed with plenty of fun, games & laughs along the way, there is something for everyone!!

See the SOW 4:14 conference page…publicity and tickets available soon!

In autumn of 2015 between September and November we are planning to take ‘Wide Open Spaces’ on tour across the UK. We have put together a choice of two evenings, as listed below:

1. Wide Open Spaces Outreach Event

This will be more of a concert feel with songs from the album being interspersed with testimony and creative multi-media as well as spoken word. You could make your setting into a coffee shop type feel or keep it in rows – whatever works best for you – but this will be an evening where churched people attend and are encouraged to bring friends or family, to enjoy an evening of song and story in a multi-sensory way that weaves in the gospel.

2. Wide Open Spaces Worship Event

This will be an evening for the church – where together we come and worship our mighty God. We will intersperse songs from the album with more well-known songs and take the congregation on a journey as we together encounter the beautiful presence of the living God. For this event we can also bring a SOW ministry team if you’d like us to, so that as well as worship we can spend some time ministering through prayer during and after the service. There will also be creativity sewn into this evening using spoken word, images and words to take us into his presence. We have also developed creative prayer stations that we can bring if you wanted to specifically pray into an area – be that your community/ your nation/ spiritual formation or anything else that as a church or community you are desiring to pray into (this is optional and we can also just delve into an evening of worship, prayer ministry and creativity if you’d prefer)

If you would like to consider booking one of our events please get in touch by emailing us at [email protected]. We will then send you further information regarding requirements, dates, costs, etc., which we are happy to discuss with you.

SOW Acapella are a group of three female soloists Hannah Barnes, Jessica Morgan and Cath Woolridge. Acapella singing is inherent to the musical culture of Wales and after their debut appearance at Sound of Wales album launch – they had such a positive response – they decided to continue the journey of SOW acapella.

SOW acapella’s vision is to take all kinds of genres of music and to uniquely create new, dynamic arrangements using the simplicity yet dynamism of vocal harmony. As has been mentioned in the wider vision of SOW – we honestly believe as gospel centred people that the holy spirit moves in the song of the land of Wales – and SOW acapella is just another vehicle in seeing the phenomenal message of freedom, salvation and restoration flow out through sound and song.
